Daddy turned 38 on March 26th and Mommy made his favorite cake (yellow cake with chocolate frosting - of course round). Daddy says that all cakes must be round so that you get more frosting per slice.

Today, Sunday, was my birthday festivities at MyGym. There were many of my classmates and friends that came out to celebrate and have a good time. We had lots of fun bouncing, chasing bubbles, climbing and swinging. Afterwards, we had pizza and cupcakes to help get our energy back. The parents really enjoyed it since once the party was over we were all off for nap time :-). Here's a few shots from our fun and Mommy says that a video will be posted later if you're interested.

Since I was the birthday boy, I got to ride on the zip line not once but twice!

As the birthday boy, I got to ride in my special car around the circle and then to where we had pizza.
BUBBLES!!!! March 18th marked my second birthday and we've been celebrating ever since! On Thursday, Mommy baked animal themed cupcakes and brought them up to my school so that I could share them with my friends. We had lots of fun as you can see below and I even got lots of hugs from all of my girlfriends at school :-).

Everyone loved getting cupcakes at school. Ms. Mandy and Ms. Kristen were glad that it was towards the end of the day with all the sugar we ate :-).
Here's Maysa, she takes care of me at school too.... especially when I don't want to sit down for circle time.
That's right my friends, I found that I'm going to be a big brother! Mommy even got me a special shirt to mark this announcement. I am so excited that I can hardly wait for September 19th to come. I'm already thinking about all the fun stuff that I'm going to teach my new sibling :-). By September, I will be 2 1/2 years old and OH the trouble that we can get into. Now the big question still remains to be answered, will it be a boy or a girl? What do you think?

Have you ever heard of the book "Horton Hears A Who"? Today, I felt like Horton in that my ears are so cleaned out now that I could hear a Who too if I wanted.
For months now I have been suffering from ear infections and countless trips to the doctor to help me feel better. Mommy swears that our insurance company is loosing money on my doctor visits alone! After a few consultations with the ENT doctor, it was decided that I should get tubes for my ears. So, today was the big day and I'm not going to lie, it was tough not being able to eat this morning :-(. However, we had so much to do in order to prepare for the surgery that I didn't have much time to think about food until I went into recovery.

There was a really nice nurse that helped me check my vitals.

Here we are in the recovery room. They even had cartoons on.On Friday night, we went for the first time to Zoo Lights at the National Zoo. Auntie Michelle came out with us too boy did we have fun. It was really cold but well worth the trip. There were lights everywhere... big ones, small ones, chasing ones, and lights set to music. We also got to see some of the animals although most of them were sleeping. Did you know that Apes sleep with blankets at night time? Me neither, it was cute to see though.
