Today we went to the early Easter church service and boy were there a lot of folks lined up to get in. We left the house 30 min. earlier than normal, just to get a seat and still sat in the back which was O.K. with me since it makes it much easier to leave when I get bored. Mom and Dad took turns as usual taking me in and out of the service, which makes it a lot of fun for me. However, Mom lets me run around in the hall next door to the church so I’d rather go with her. There were so many kids to play with that even though I was tired, I managed to stay awake so that I wouldn't miss a thing!
Later this afternoon, we are heading over to Auntie Michelle's for an Easter feast. The word on the street is that she might have an Easter egg hunt... WHOA! I just hope we find all of the eggs so that her house doesn't stink later on in the year.
Here's some snapshots from this morning. Mommy thinks I look like a little southern gentlemen and Daddy thinks I could be a southern lawyer. What do you think?
Love,
Emerson
"Daddy, please let me down... I know I can catch the puppy if I run fast enough"
"Woo Hoo, did somebody say Easter eggs and candy!"
"Whew.... I'm pooped." "It's so hard to be this cute and entertain a crowd of people"
Here I am catching up on some ZZZ's before our afternoon adventure at Auntie Michelle's

My Emerson,
You look cutier than an easter egg. I'll bet all the ladies in church were googling over you. Love Pappy and Nana Banana
Hello, my little Easter Bunny! You look so cute all dressed up. Looks like you really did wear yourself out having a good time at church.
I hope you find lots of eggs at Auntie Michelle's house. Try not to eat too much candy so you don't get a tummy ache. Oh, wait! What am I thinking, I know your mommy & daddy won't let you have too much candy! Otherwise, it might be a very, very long time before the next nap! Love you, honey bunny! Grams
OMG . . . he is too cute!!!! What a blessing. - ali
