Yesterday, Mom and Dad had their first parent/teacher conference and I did great! I was worried there for awhile especially given the fact that I've been caught escaping the play yard, playing in the mud and dirt and not sleeping when I'm suppose to. It was touch and go until my parents arrived back home from their meeting but, all was good!
Here are some souvenirs from their meeting. Mommy swears that the comment " Emerson is a funny little boy." "He has so much energy!", is their polite way of saying that I'm all over the place. Ha! I give my parents a run for their money each and everyday so why should my teachers be any different :-).

You are such a special little guy! I wish there was some way to give your Grams a portion of your energy!
As for escaping from the play yard, I know from whom you got that! Someone I know escaped from the house in the dead of winter in Oklahoma in his footed sleeper when less than 2 years old! Gave me the scare of my life! Be kind to your Mommy and Daddy! You're gonna need them around for a long time to come! Go easy on your teachers, too!
