Here comes Peter Cotton Tail....

Happy Easter everyone! This weekend was packed with lots of fun and excitement that I wish it wouldn't have ever stopped. First, Mommy brought me home my very first pair of cowboy boots... I think she's missing home. On Saturday morning we got up really early to go down to the Cherry Blossom festival along the Tidal basin of D.C. Later on Saturday night, the whole family dyed Easter eggs (I had to watch especially since I tried to eat the blue dye tablet... who knew it wasn't edible?). Daddy also tried to teach me about chemical reactions by pouring baking soda into the dye bowls after we were finished coloring eggs. That was really cool!

Today was the best day of the entire weekend because the Easter bunny came to visit me! Mommy even let me eat some of my candy for breakfast. Of course, Mommy also made sure that I ate a yogurt, TLC bar and took my vitamins for good measure. Afterwards, we got dressed for church and headed out for Sunday service. Auntie Michelle invited us over for an Easter dinner, playtime with Jacques (Auntie Michelle's dog) and an Easter egg hunt. NOTE: This year I didn't care for the watering can but instead opted for Jacques pooper scooper. Don't worry it didn’t take me long to figure out where the real action was and that was hunting for eggs. Daddy took video footage so it will be up later in the week. Until then, here are some snapshots of our weekend fun.

Look Who Else Had a Birthday!

Daddy turned 38 on March 26th and Mommy made his favorite cake (yellow cake with chocolate frosting - of course round). Daddy says that all cakes must be round so that you get more frosting per slice.

Here's some video of footage of Mommy and me putting the candles on his cake.

Fun Times at My Gym

Today, Sunday, was my birthday festivities at MyGym. There were many of my classmates and friends that came out to celebrate and have a good time. We had lots of fun bouncing, chasing bubbles, climbing and swinging. Afterwards, we had pizza and cupcakes to help get our energy back. The parents really enjoyed it since once the party was over we were all off for nap time :-). Here's a few shots from our fun and Mommy says that a video will be posted later if you're interested.

Since I was the birthday boy, I got to ride on the zip line not once but twice!

Marybeth and I hanging out on the monkey bars.

I think she got tired of holding my hand or something..hee hee

"Say it isn't so.... the bubbles are all gone?"
As the birthday boy, I got to ride in my special car around the circle and then to where we had pizza.

BUBBLES!!!!

Happy Birthday to Me!

March 18th marked my second birthday and we've been celebrating ever since! On Thursday, Mommy baked animal themed cupcakes and brought them up to my school so that I could share them with my friends. We had lots of fun as you can see below and I even got lots of hugs from all of my girlfriends at school :-).

Check it out....

This is my friend, Ryiee, she's really cool.

Here we are waiting to say our prayer before eating.

Everyone loved getting cupcakes at school. Ms. Mandy and Ms. Kristen were glad that it was towards the end of the day with all the sugar we ate :-).
Here's Maysa, she takes care of me at school too.... especially when I don't want to sit down for circle time.
Alexis is giving me a hug here..... we've been told that between the two of us, we rule the class..he he he :-)
